Applications now open for Edinburgh TV Festival talent schemes

The Edinburgh TV Festival is now accepting applications for its prominent talent schemes; The Network and Ones to Watch.
The Network 2018
The Network is a free intensive introduction to the world of TV production. If you are looking to start a career in television, this is the scheme for you. You don’t need to have had any direct experience, but you will have to demonstrate that you love TV.
Earn one of 60 places on the scheme and you’ll get a taste of what it’s really like to work in television; meet top programme-makers and make loads of new contacts. You’ll also be paired with an industry mentor and get access to exclusive events and opportunities. The scheme encompasses four days of workshops, masterclasses from industry experts and the opportunity to gain an understanding of your area of expertise within the industry.

Ones to Watch 2018
Ones to Watch is a free scheme giving television’s best and brightest access to four days of inspiring sessions, creative debate and unrivalled networking opportunities at Edinburgh in August, as well as support and mentoring throughout the year. A place on Ones to Watch is a life-changing, money-can’t-buy opportunity.

The deadline for applications to The Network and Ones to Watch has been extended to Monday 30 April at 10am.
Northern Ireland based applicants who are short-listed for both schemes will be in interviewed in Belfast. The Belfast interview process will take place via funding support from Northern Ireland Screen.
