Maoiniú | Funding

Cuireann an CCG maoiniú forbartha agus léiriúcháin araon ar fáil thar réimsí leathan seánraí teilifíse a chraoltar ar BBC TÉ, TG4 agus RTÉ. Amharcfar ar iarratais maoinithe eile d’abhair nach bhfuil craoltóir ceangailte leo fosta ach d’fhéadfadh fianaise láidir a sholáthar de shroicheadh lucht féachana fairsing.

Cá mhéad a mhaoinímid?

FORBAIRT
Tugann an CCG maoiniú forbartha do mhéid áirithe tionscadail. Maoinímid ar a mhéad 50% den bhuiséad forbartha ina iomláine agus de ghnáth cuireann an craoltóir an 50% eile den mhaoiniú ar fáil.

LÉIRIÚCHÁN
Dé ghnáth, infheisteoidh an CCG uasmhéid de £400,000 i dtionscadal, suas le teorainn de 75% de na costais tionscadail chomhaontaithe foriomlána agus éileoidh sé go gcaithfear méid nach lú ná 70% de na costais tionscadail sin i dTuaisceart Éireann.

FOINSÍ MAOINITHE EILE
Molann an CCG d’iarratasóirí taighde a dhéanamh ar fhoinsí maoinithe eile a d’fhéadfaí a úsáid i gcomhar leis an CCG, mar shampla

• Scéim Fuaime agus Físe Údarás Craolacháin na hÉireann
• Fís Éireann
• Dreasachtaí cánach in Éirinn agus sa Ríocht Aontaithe

Cé a fhéadfaidh iarratas a dhéanamh?

Tá an ciste oscailte do chomhlachtaí léiriúcháin neamhspleácha ar bith atá lonnaithe i dTuaisceart Éireann. Breathnófar ar iarratais ó chomhleiriúcháin fosta ina mbeidh ar a laghad ceann amháin de na comhlachtaí lonnaithe i dTuaisceart Éireann. Ba chóir a bheith airdeallach an oiread agus is féidir oibrithe léiriúcháin agus criú ar cainteoirí Gaeilge iad a fhostú.

Cad é mar a dhéanaim iarratas?

Má tá tú ag smaoineamh ar iarratas a chur isteach chuig an CCG fá choinne maoinithe, ní mór duit dul i dteagmháil le Ceannasaí an CCG Áine Walsh, Oifigeach an CCG Doireann Nic Dhomhnaill nó le Oifigeach an CCG Brídín Ni Mhaoldomhnaigh le cruinniú a eagrú leis an tionscadal a phlé ar an chéad dul síos. Tabhair faoi deara na critéir mhaoinithe a thugtar i bh Forléargas de chuid an CCG.

Tabhair faoi deara chomh maith nach nglacann Scáileán Thuaisceart Éireann le scripteanna ná tograí nár iarradh. Tá mionsonraí thíos faoin bhealach is fearr le hiarratas ar mhaoiniú CCG a dhéanamh. Cé go bhfuil treoirlínte (le híoslódáil ón leathanach Forléargas) agus an fhoirm iarratais ar líne ar fáil (féach thíos), ba chóir duit teagmháil a dhéanamh leis an rannóg CCG chun do thionscadal a phlé sula gcuireann tú cáipéis nó ábhair ar bith ar aghaidh chugainn.

The ILBF provides both development and production funding across a wide range of television genres, for content broadcast on BBC NI, TG4 and RTÉ. The ILBF will also consider funding content that does not have a broadcaster attached. However, in this case, a wide audience reach must be evidenced.

How much do we fund?

DEVELOPMENT
The ILBF funds a small number of development projects. We will fund a maximum of 50% of the overall development budget with a broadcaster generally providing the remaining 50% of funding.

PRODUCTION
The ILBF will usually invest a maximum of £400,000 in a project, up to a ceiling of 75% of the overall agreed project costs and will require that no less than 70% of those project costs are spent in Northern Ireland.

OTHER FUNDING SOURCES
The ILBF encourages applicants to research other funding sources, which can be used in conjunction with the ILBF such as:

• Broadcast Authority of Ireland’s Sound & Vision Scheme
• Screen Ireland
• UK and Ireland tax relief incentives

Who can apply?

The fund is open to any Northern Ireland based independent production company. We also consider co-productions where at least one of the production companies is based in Northern Ireland. Emphasis should be placed on maximum use of Irish speaking Northern Ireland cast and crew.

How do I apply?

If you are considering applying for funding to the ILBF you must in the first instance contact the Head of the ILBF Áine WalshILBF Officer Brídín Ni Mhaoldomhnaigh or ILBF Officer Doireann Nic Dhomhnaill to arrange a meeting to discuss the project. Please be aware of the funding criteria, outlined in the overview of the ILBF section.

Please bear in mind that Northern Ireland Screen does not accept unsolicited scripts and proposals. Details of how to apply for ILBF funding are below. Please note that although guidelines (downloadable from overview page) and the online application form (see below), are available, you should contact the ILBF department to discuss your project before submitting any documents or materials.
