Bone Detectives unearth stories of people behind the bones

Bone Detectives: Britain’s Buried Secrets, a brand new eight-part series about a team of scientists who discover the lives behind unearthed bones, airs on Saturday 28th March at 7pm on Channel 4. The series was produced by Tern TV in Belfast with funding from Northern Ireland Screen.
Tori Herridge assisted by mortuary technician Carla Valentine and archaeologist Raksha Dave, attempt to piece together the stories of the people behind the bones; what happened to these people and how they came to be where they were found.
Each episode reveals a story from the bones discovered across Britain. Human bones can reveal the age, sex, height and diet of a person so once a skeleton has been recorded in the ground and lifted, the bones immediately begin to reveal their mysteries – opening a secret history of Britain.
