ScreenSkills standards team is coming to Belfast
Date Posted: September 23, 2019
ScreenSkills is inviting industry professionals based in Northern Ireland to participate in workshops to help determine which skills and knowledge are required to work in camera, lighting, and sound recording and music technology jobs.
ScreenSkills reviews and updates existing national occupational standards (NOS). NOS are statements of what someone needs ‘to do’ and ‘to know’ to perform a job role. These standards are used to underpin apprenticeships and help to guide the development of courses at all levels; as well as being a resource for industry to support recruitment and management activities across the UK.
To ensure that standards reflect current practice employers and current practitioners are invited to workshops in the following areas:
- Camera on 16 October 2019 from 10:30-13:00
- Lighting on 16 October 2019 from 13:30-16:00
- Sound recording and music technology on 17 October 2019 from 10:30-13:00
If you would to participate but are unable to attend any of the workshops, please get in touch with Krisztina Biliczky at [email protected].
