The Marketing and Communications Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and the Chief Executive to assist in the development and implementation of Northern Ireland Screen’s Marketing Strategy as part of the roll out of the 2022-26 Strategy: Stories, Skills and Sustainability.
The successful candidate will also assist in the delivery of the communications plan and information service covering all aspects of Northern Ireland Screen’s work, an integrated approach to its key economic, educational and cultural objectives. As well as assisting in the delivery of the overall strategy the role-holder will assume responsibilities for key areas within the overall marketing, publicity and communications activities.
Experience
The Marketing and Communications Manager will have excellent professional communication skills, verbal and written with a high level of literacy and numeracy alongside the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure and perform to agreed deadlines.
The successful candidate will also have a third level qualification in a marketing discipline (marketing, PR or communications) and a digital marketing qualification with the following experience:
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in a fast-paced marketing environment;
- Content creation for online and traditional marketing channels;
- Developing marketing and communication plans, delivering marketing campaigns and supporting marketing materials;
- Managing a diverse range of stakeholders.
It is also desirable for the successful candidate to have demonstrable knowledge of the screen industry within Northern Ireland as well as experience of managing a CMS system and the use of digital marketing tools for scheduling and analysing performance.
